Are You Ready to Make Self-Care a Priority?

How would life be different if you went through your days with a full tank, feeling well-cared for and replenished?

How would that change the way you parent?

How would that change the way you approach your work?

How would that change the way you experience your relationships — your spouse, your children, your friends … yourself?

I know what you may be thinking, that it is almost impossible for you as a busy mom. It’s not as if you don’t know the importance of self-care but given all the commitments you have and with just 24 hours a day, you are thankful to be able to finish the tasks on your to-do list. Self-care? It just got to wait.

But I want to tell you that it doesn’t have to be this way.

Lisa Bryne, a dear mentor of mine, is going to guide a group of moms through a year-long program call Replenish 365 to equip them to lead calm, healthy, vibrant lives.

In case you don’t know Lisa, she is the founder of WellGrounded Life, a site that offers support and resources to help moms be their best selves. Lisa holds a Masters in Public Health from Boston University and is a Certified Holistic Health Counselor through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and Columbia University.

Replenish 365 comprises FIVE of Lisa’s core courses: The Stress Cure, Designed for Wellness, Cleanse Your Life, Harmonize Your Hormones and Teach Your Life to be Extraordinary. These courses alone cover every aspect of health and wellbeing in a way that is designed specifically for busy moms. They are created to be flexible enough to fit into the nooks and crannies of a mama’s changing schedule (Lisa knows this, after all she is a mom of 3) and they are made to be accessible from anywhere you have an internet connection.

Besides the core courses (which include lifetime access), you’ll also will be supremely supported through monthly themes and Soul Care videos, monthly live Q&A group coaching calls and access to a private Replenish 365 Facebook group where you can ask questions, share resources and connect with like-minded moms. Lisa recognized the need for ongoing support so participants can continue to grow through the inevitable ups and downs of life.

I have previously attended Lisa’s courses and they have made lasting impact in my life. I appreciate her wisdom and insights, and love her gentle, non-judgmental approach. She is an expert in moms’ wellness that I trust and respect.

Another aspect of Lisa’s programs I really like is the closed Facebook communities (a separate one for each program). The moms in the communities are very supportive and I have learnt much from their sharing and the responses to my questions.

Are you tired of feeling stressed and depleted? Do you want to make a real, lasting change in your life? Then you need to check out Replenish 365. The journey has officially begun on 6 January. Registration closes on 30 January 2014. If you are not ready to jump in and commit for a full year, you can also opt for individual courses (see the links at the bottom of post).

Start 2014 on a positive note. Invest in yourself and make self-care a priority, because it is essential to the quality of life – both yours and your family’s.

You can’t give your best to your family from a barren place. I know many of us can be so familiar with running on empty that sometimes it feels almost unnatural to be at the opposite end of the spectrum.

But give yourself a chance and commit to self-care. Choose to regularly replenish your tank so that you are always giving from a place of abundance. You will begin to notice the changes in every aspect of your life. See how good it feels to be in a space where your mind, body and soul are well nourished and you truly thrive as a mom and woman. You can make 2014 a radically different year, and it starts with your decision.
